Аmbulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) is a method of measuring blood pressure automatically at regular intervals, which are repeated, as a rule, 24 hours.
This video lecture designed for professionals who have studied medicine. This version of the lecture is shortened, the entire material is offered in postgraduate courses and consists of 2 parts.
The material presents arguments why the practical importance of ABPM is overestimated, and even sometimes it can be harmful (especially in the Russian approach to ABPM).
However, sometimes, mostly due to local instructions, specialists are forced to use ABPM in practice, so a doctor needs to know the information that allows him to carry out and interpret this procedure adequately.
