MikroTik routers have a standard login being ‘admin” for the username and the password field being left blank. This is of course a security threat and the default username and password should be changed as soon as possible.You should now have a window where you can configure your new Username and Password. Make sure that the Group field is set to “Full” so that full permissions will be given to this new user. You can create as many new users as you like. Certain users will not need full permissions to the RouterBoard. You can create your own groups for these users and allow them to have only permissions you choose.
