Season 22 of Apex Legends is now live with a brand new map known as E-District, Akimbo versions of the P2020 and Mozambique, plus new gameplay changes, but even more updates could be coming to Apex Legends soon!
A recent playtester of Apex Legends let us know of some new weapon changes being tested within the Battle Royale game mode.
-Weapons no longer spawn on the ground
-Weapon preset system will supposedly be added to the lobby, which allows you to configure a set of your desired load-outs before entering a match
-Your selected loadout will be added to the inventory upon landing on the map, without attachments
-Loadouts can be changed during the match via Replicators, you are allowed to pick from the multiple load-out presets you've created in the lobby
-Weapon rarity will upgrade with the ring
(for eg. Ring 2 will upgrade weapons to Blue, Ring 4 will upgrade to Purple)
-Each Legend receives a set of Exclusive weapons, that will give certain buffs to Legends while using those weapons (example: Faster reload speed, Faster movement speed, etc.)
-Using Non-Exclusive weapons with a Legend results in a De-Buff for that Legend or Negative Effects
