In this episode of Shooting & Country TV, our digital editor Emily Damment visits ISSF coach Katy Poulsom at her facility near Farnham, for some shooting simulator training on Katy's very own, very exciting, Marksman Shooting Simulator!
The Shooting Simulator allows you to practice and hone your skills on everything from Trap to Sporting, pheasants to grouse, and everything in between. The Shooting Simulator presents you with a graph of your shot, allowing you to identify those tiny issues that are preventing you from improving your game shooting technique, your clay pigeon shooting technique, and the elements that enable you to consistently perform at your best, such as gun mount and body movement.
Find out how it can help you fine tune your training, identifying exactly which areas need to be worked on, and take your shooting to the next level. Equally, it presents a really exciting alternative way of introducing newcomers to shooting sports - how much nicer to learn to shoot properly with the simulator, rather than getting knocked around by recoil you haven't yet learned to control!?
We would recommend this to all shooters, from experienced competitors right down to complete beginners - we would imagine it is especially useful for those who have hit a wall, and cannot identify what it is that is preventing them from moving forwards with their training.
