Using Beauty Box with Mocha AE in After Effects
Sometimes when pulling the automatic mask from Beauty Box, while selecting the skin tones of your talent the plugin may also happen to select other items in the frame that are similar in color to the flesh tones. When this happens it can make color correcting or skin smoothing more finicky since you need to regard how these parameters might impact these objects and not just your model's face.
In this tutorial we take a look at how utilizing After Effect's partner program, Mocha, can allow us to refine the mask that Beauty Box creates so that we can mess with our skin tones without worrying about impacting those other objects in the frame!
