Choose How Discount Rules Should Work When WooCommerce Coupons Are Used
Are you using the “Discount Rules for WooCommerce” plugin to create your WooCommerce discounts?
Discount Rules is the best way to add automatic discounts to your store and help customers get discounts directly to their products.
However, the default WooCommerce coupons are another great feature that helps you to offer discounts with coupons. Customers can enter this coupon to get their discounts.
It is possible to synchronize these two discount strategies to work together or use both alternatively.

The “Discount Rules Pro for WooCommerce” plugin lets you integrate both coupons and automatic discounts on your WooCommerce store.
It provides three different options like:
Let Both Coupons and Discount Rules Run Together - You can enable this option to apply both coupons and discount rules created with this plugin.
Disable the Coupons (Discount Rules Will Work) - You can choose this to disable the default coupon feature and only apply discounts created with this plugin.
Disable the Discount Rules (Coupons Will Work) - You can select this option to disable discounts from the Discount Rules plugin and only apply default coupons.
To do this:
1. Go to the WooCommerce dashboard.
2. Select the “Settings” tab from “Woo Discount Rules.”
3. Navigate to the “Choose how discount rules should work” option.
4. Enable any of the three options mentioned above based on your campaigns.
5. Finally, save changes.
Note: You can also create coupons within the plugin instead of using the default coupon feature. However, you cannot disable the coupon created from the plugin with these settings.
