For Elizabeth, having a baby was always the next chapter of her life plan. After a year and half of trying to conceive naturally, Elizabeth was told her egg count was lower than average. With her doctor's support they turned to IVF. Six IVF cycles later and her hope was fading. Surrogacy and adoption as alternative options also failed. Elizabeth turned to an egg donor, another lengthy process for the longing mother. At first, she was hopeful – a pregnancy test came back positive, and signs were looking good.
