Accessing Research Resources from a Web Browser to Perform Statistical Analyses with Open OnDemand
Summary
Within this video, we demonstrate an implementation of the Open OnDemand system on a research cluster. Details on the Open OnDemand project can be found at: https://openondemand.org/
The video shows how we:
1. navigate to the Hardware Accelerated Learning (HAL) cluster's Open OnDemand portal:
https://hal-ondemand.ncsa.illinois.edu/
2. Work with files on a cluster through a web browser
3. Demonstrate an in-browser terminal shell.
4. Launch a Jupyter Notebook powered by cluster resources through pre-installed interactive applications.
