Do you need a polarizer for landscape photography?
A polarizer's effect on images cannot be easily replicated in post-processing, making it absolutely essential for landscape photography.
It's the ONLY filter I carry with me at all times. While an ND filter can be beneficial in certain situations, I don't use it often. I use a polarizer on nearly any photo that doesn't include the sky.
If you're looking for a polarizer, look for one that is thin to avoid vignetting with wide-angle lenses. Additionally, make sure to get the right size for your lenses.
