We're joined by Paulo Lopes -- one of the authors of es4x framework. Es4x is a server side JavaScript application framework which builds on Vertx and GraalVM. Es4x is a modern JavaScript runtime which from the developer experience resembles node.js and offers a familiar programming model. Es4x is fast, reactive, scalable, and resource efficient.
In this session we talk about the general ideas behind Es4x, its performance results, look at some demos, discuss what benefits and hindrances dependency on the JVM mean, what tooling is available for developers usign Es4x and where to look for more information.
