This video is detailing bringing an absolutely beautiful Dean Dave Mustaine Angel of Deth back from the dead. Needless to say it was the biggest job I’d taken on to date but as it was given to me by a very dear friend I was motivated to fix it.
Due to an issue with the control knobs I couldn’t keep it original like I planned, so I decided to install a set of Seymour Duncan Blackouts, EMG Pickups solderless conversion kit & an EMG Pickups PA2 Gain Boost. It still sounds as amazing as ever, with even more of a punch thanks to the pickups and wiring 🤘
I will be recording a separate full cover video of me playing this guitar but that’s going to be a while off, so keep your eyes peeled for it 🤘
