Ouch! So many artists I know have elbow/wrist pain (including myself!). Mine got so bad I could barely lift a coffee cup! Through trial and error I fixed my elbow and I'll show you some ways you can help yours too!
To add to what was said in the video:
1: take frequent breaks and stretch out and RELAX your "gripping muscles" in your forearm. You can use the things I recommended or just massage your arm. I do this probably once an hour or so to keep blood moving.
2. Avoid keeping your arm or hand raised without support for long periods of time. Little things add up and it is hard to reverse that later.
3. If you don't have pain in your elbow, shoulder, or wrist, it is really beneficial for you to start doing this stuff in a preventative way. Like I said, once you have it, it's much harder to tame.
4. You can add ice/heat to the mix too if you like. It can work wonders in addition to the things I show here. : )
