Productive Robotics is excited to present their solution for dual EoAT (End-of-Arm-Tooling) grippers for use in OB7 robots. PR's cost-effective dual gripper is an inexpensive solution when compared to purchasing a dual gripper from anyone else. PR's OB7 robots come standard equipped with a single EoAT parallel gripper. By adding an additional parallel gripper (+ adapter plate), you now have a dual gripper that takes machine tending to a whole new level of productivity.
A dual gripper allows you to speed up your production by using two grippers instead of one at the wrist. This highly reduces machine wait time during part loading and unloading, which will greatly reduce machine cycle time. With the OB7 dual gripper, you can unload a completed part then immediately reload a new blank, eliminating the extra trip to and from the machine. The dual gripper adapter is compatible with all OB7 robots grippers and grippers that use the standard ISO mount tool plate.
In lathe operations, which generally have short cycle times requiring an operator to constantly wait for the machine, the use of a dual gripper frees up time and allows the operator to focus on preparing other jobs and parts, thus adding additional productivity within your manufacturing processes.
