Indoor swimming pools and gyms have begun re-opening today in England, with social distancing measures in force - as part of the latest easing of lockdown restrictions. But despite the Government's new pledge to promote fitness and weight loss as a way to protect against coronavirus, many local facilities have stayed shut - warning that without financial support they will struggle to survive.
