Early summer is a great time to fish. With the being said there always seems to be a week or two period of time that the fish are in some sort of funk.
Once this is over you are going to find bass shallow, deep and in between.
When it comes to postspawn bass fishing, bait is really the number 1 key to catching bass. Find bait and you will find bass.
Some bass will be focused on the shad spawn, some will be focused on a bluegill spawn and some will be moving out to deep water structure.
The best thing is that if you can stay in front of the bass you will have more and more bass coming to you every single day!
