Trendelenburgs test, Hip stability test
Test for hip integrity and regional muscular dysfunction.
Positive test may indicate hip dysfunction like fracture and dislocation or weakness of regional muscles.
Test may also be positive due to a sacroiliac pathology, therefore the sacroiliac joint should be tested separately.
