BMW M2C F87 - AKRAPOVIČ vs. STOCK | PURE SOUND COMPARISON
The BMW M2 Competition in Hockenheim Silver shown in the video has been fitted with a prototype version of the new Akrapovic Slip-On Line Titanium exhaust system, four carbon fiber tail pipes and a prototype Titanium linkpipe.
The system is fitted on a EU-spec BMW M2 Competition. The linkpipe replaces in the case of this EU-spec car the OPF filter set up. On a non-EU car it would replace the standard midpipe with the center damper and resonators.
OPF filters are only fitted on European cars due to Euro 6 and WLTP regulations and influence the sound considerably. The slip-on and linkpipe are also available for non-EU cars and will sound similar as soon in this video.
The BMW M2 Competition in Sapphire Black is fitted with the stock system which includes the OPF filters. The sound difference is quite noticeably between both.
