I was stuck at 500 subscribers for 2 years, but then I uploaded two videos that got me an extra 1000 subscribers and the 4000 hours of watch time to be able to apply for the Youtube Partner Program, aka to monetise my channel: get paid for the ads that run in front of my videos, which allows you to make money on Youtube.
I was so frustrated and demotivated for so long, until I learned what makes a good video that people would spend time watching, and how to implement and execute my ideas in an engaging and interesting way. And after I uploaded these two videos where I implemented everything I learned over time , my other videos also started to get more views.
