How to Reset Photoshop's Toolbar and Tools
Learn how to reset the Photoshop toolbar to its default layout, and how to reset Photoshop's tools to the default settings.
As we select different tools in Photoshop, the toolbar's layout changes to show the last tools we used. If you are new to Photoshop, it can be confusing when tools in the toolbar are not where you expect them to be.
Also, Photoshop remembers the last settings we used for each tool in the Options Bar. So the next time you use the tool, it may not behave the way you expected.
This video shows you how to quickly solve both of these problems by resetting the Photoshop toolbar to its default layout and resetting each tool in the toolbar to its default settings in the Options Bar.
