Netgear Range Extender Setup Just In 2 Mins By Using Wps Method
Netgear wifi range extender setup using the popular method such as wps and mywifiext setup.
Step 1:- If your existing wireless network supports WPS, follow the steps below if you want to setup your extender using the WPS button.
Step 1:- Press and hold the WPS button on the Extender for 5 seconds. The WPS LED Imageon the front should blink.
Wait for at least 2 minutes while the extender connects to your existing wireless network.
If successful, the WPS LED on your Extender turns solid green, the 2.4 GHz Link Rate LED lights up.
Note: If the 2.4 GHz Link Rate LED does not light up, repeat steps 1 and 2, or make sure your router supports WPS.
If your router supports the 5 GHz band, just repeat steps 1 and 2 to connect the Extender to the 5 GHz band. If successful, the 5 GHz Link Rate LED on your Extender should light up.
Once extender setup is complete, the extended network for each applicable band is broadcast as "network name_2GEXT" and "network name_5GEXT". You can connect to the extender's network using the same password as that of the router's network.
