Security staff at a Beirut bank attacked a Dateline interviewee during filming| SBS Dateline
In Lebanon's capital Beirut, the Dateline crew and interviewee, Fouad Debs, were interrupted and intimidated by bank security staff as they tried to film at an ATM outside.
A lawyer and co-founder of the Depositors’ Union, Debs wanted to show the SBS crew how little money he could take out under Lebanon's existing cash withdrawal limits. The country is grappling with the worst financial crisis any country has experienced in more than a century.
