Auto refresh BI visuals in Power Apps using the new Power BI connector
In this 18-minute citizen ceveloper-focused demo, Daniel Christian shows the new Power BI connector (in Preview) with DirectQuery as a powerful alternative to using Power BI direct integration. Daniel creates a dashboard, adds a Power BI tile, connects to Power BI report data source (in Power BI Admin Center), collects new data in a form, initiates save to Dataverse followed by BI tile refresh. Two functions used - PowerBI.RefreshDataset and Refreshvar - refresh tile visual. This PnP community demo is taken from the Microsoft Power Apps community call - February 2021, recorded on February 17, 2021.
