In this video I'm going to show you how to create a Synthwave style bass using the free version of Vital synth. You'll also be able to download the free Synthwave Vital preset pack from this video, and you'll be able to get access to all the MIDI and drum loops that I used to make the example beat in the start of the video.
Synthwave is a genre that plucks the beautiful, warm, vintage, retro, analog sounds from the 80s, and puts them together in a magnificent chill/futuristic soundscape.
One of the main elements of a Synthwave track is the signature Juno-like Synthwave bass.
We'll be going over exactly how you can get this sound, and make your digital synth sound a bit more retro & analog, without having to fork out thousands on an emulation of a hardware synth, or an old Juno synth.
