After I heard SilverShadowDarkness's piano version of Vaati's Origins, I absolutely fell in love with the melody! ^_^ It's so sad and dark and beautiful...
I put a lot of thought into the lyrics. I tried to give them a really deep meaning and add darkness to this lovely piece. That's why I did the reverb/echo/whateveryoucallit on my voice (and a little on the piano to blend) also- to give it that creepy feel. :3
I hope you like it! ^_^ I'm very proud of this... I had no clue I could hit those notes without my voice cracking, not to mention the dang octave change... I'm not a professional, but I think I did really well. :) Also, thank you Haley for giving me the idea to try a higher octave!
