So, the first month of 2022 has now passed and january 2022 turned out to be a fairly decent month when looking at my online income from my side hustle named Income Grinders. Compared to January income last year, 2021, it was a good month since the affiliate income increased 10%. I monetize mainly using Google AdSense display ads and affiliate marketing links. The main bulk of my side hustle income is currently from AdSense.
In January 2022 I was able to focus on
Working full time @ dayjob / .NET C# coding
Lazy month not much work on sites
Clone wars/Affiliate sites 50/50 focus
trouble getting approvals
alternative strategy
analysing and testing other approaches
Some accounting
Huge drops in traffic and income for affiliate websites
Learning to use Jasper.ai tool for quicker content creation for affiliate sites
During February 2022 I will continue working on new project, named Clone Wars, as well as below points:
full time job in IT
be more active on YouTube (yeah right)
keep scaling up AdSense websites (clone wars)
50/50 effort in Clone Wars / Affiliate Sites
updated fixed costs
domain costs etc
calculate new WIFE due to above and increased hourly rate
accountant meeting to finalize papers for my companies
Consulting LLC
Side Hustle LLC
Pay out dividends based on company profits from 2021
Investment plans
In the month of Janary 2022 I managed to increase my passive income about 10% compared to same month in year 2021. These online revenue streams are mainly coming in from Google Adsense earnings and Affiliate marketing commissions. I have started to add Ezoic and crypto mining as potential income streams also during this year.
January 2022 revenue breakdown
Display Ads (Ezoic, AdSense): $9,826
Affiliate income, websites: $1,595
Other (YouTube/Twitter etc): $492
Total: $11,914
Operational daily cost: $43
Operational cost January: $1,347
Investments: $0
Total cost: $1,347
January profits, before tax: $10,567
After tax (to invest / pay out dividends 2023): $8,390
My online passive income is coming from various websites, blogs and services that I have developed and is still developing. They are being monetized using mainly Google AdSense and various affiliate marketing links and offerings.
This type of income should rather be called "passionate income" since there is a lot of work involved before it can transform into passive income from blogs and other "webservices". But since the most common description is passive income I will stick to that.
My WIFE status (Word Independent, Financially Empowered) is now at above 100%, based on the last 12 months profit from my online business that I am running beside my normal daily job as an self-employed IT consultant.

After my website and online income "crash" in late mid/late 2015 I have had to more or less restart building my online business and now I am getting close to 100% financial freedom.
