Gerthy's Roots is the story of a strong and inspiring Haitian-born woman and her quest to make a difference in her beloved homeland. The film charts humanitarian organizer Gerthy Lahens as she strives to address her native Haiti's devastating environmental, social and economic problems by teaming up with the Art of Living foundation to launch the Youth Leadership Training Program in Haiti.
