Kentmere 400 - My thoughts, samples, and HP5 comparison.
With the rising cost of film, cheaper alternatives to premium stocks are becoming more attractive. My favourite black and white film has been Ilford HP5 for years now. But Ilford also produces Kentmere 400, which is available for 65-75% of the price of HP5. Tune in to see if it holds up, and if shooting Kentmere is much of a compromise.
