Ace Hotel Kyoto is located in the center of Kyoto-city. The hotel is a 5min walk from KARASUMA-OIKE station. This is the first ACE HOTEL in Japan. The hotel has developed a part of the area renovation project and the building is connected to the old building which is a former KYOTO telephone office building. Therefore, there is a nice greenery garden inside the hotel property, and it's connected to the shopping zone, too. The interior is casual, modern, and a kind of fusion style mixed with a spirit of Japanese traditional wooden architecture. The dynamic structure of wooden beams at the entrance and the lobby is amazing. Inside the guest room, the interior design is basically very simple but with adding a spicy accent of colors, graphics, artwork, etc, this hotel has a unique and stylish atmosphere.
