Trump calls for supporters to march to US Capitol before the riot
Trump told thousands of supporters just outside the White House that he wanted Pence to 'come through' for us and demanded that he reject electoral votes out of hand over that the president claims is 'fraud.' He threatened Pence saying 'I'm not hearing good stories' and telling him to have 'courage' to strike down swing states' votes – a move which would defy the constitution. The President also said that he knows that soon 'everyone will be marching over to the Capitol building' to 'patriotically' make their voices heard.
Four people are dead and dozens have been arrested after Donald Trump's supporters stormed the US Capitol and clashed with police in a bid to stop Joe Biden's victory being certified. Pipe bombs, molotov cocktails and guns were found.
