In this video, we show how to make a simple shaking camera or earthquake effect using HitFilm Express 12 (and later). Although this is a very simple technique, it can make your video projects look, and feel, a lot more professional and realistic.

Shaking effects are popularly used in many professional video productions including YouTube and news channels. They are effectively used to give the impression that the ground is shaking, e.g. during an earthquake or when something heavy hits the ground.
