The circuit showcased in this video employs a timer to safeguard the motor when it is automatically activated by a float switch. Here's how it works:
Motor Activation,
Upon receiving the Motor On Signal from the Float Switch, the circuit initiates the activation of the motor.
Contactor Activation,
Utilizing the N/C (Normally Closed) point of the timer, the circuit seamlessly activates the contactor upon receiving the Motor On Signal from the Float Switch, ensuring smooth motor operation.
Timer Protection,
By setting a predetermined time interval, the timer automatically switches off the motor if no water is drawn, safeguarding it against various potential issues such as running without water, obstructions, or foot valve malfunctions.
This mechanism serves to prevent potential issues such as,
*Motor running without water.
*Motor malfunction due to obstruction or jamming.
*Inadequate functioning of the Foot Valve.
By implementing this circuit, you effectively safeguard the motor from burnout and ensure its longevity and reliable performance.
