Adult Swim is replacing Cartoon Network at 6 PM starting this fall, and despite how sour things look for CN, I can't help but feel like this is a good step in the right direction. Adult Swim's habit of saving the best parts of Cartoon Network and track record of producing a variety quality adult animation and anime combined with a bigger timeslot may do way more good for the network than anything Cartoon Network could do in its current position. Is this the start of a brand new era where Toonami could air on weekdays with shows like Unicorn, Primal, One Piece and Naruto, or are we doomed for more King of the Hill reruns?
