150 Meter Long Distance NVR IP Camera Security and Surveillance System Setup Guide
The maximum distance of PoE is limited to 100 meters. While there are over 100 meters, a PoE extender could be added between the IP camera and POE NVR to repeat the PoE network. The PoE extender will take the power inline. No need for an external power source. This video shows how to add the PoE extender between the camera and PoE NVR. The two indicators should be on while the PoE extender is working correctly. One PoE extender can extend another 100 meters PoE Network.
