VERY entertaining collection of stories here! First Ive seen any of the Warner / Pathe collections
1st clip features a guy who wants desperately to go over Niagara Falls in a barrel. I guess his family made it a habit to try to go over without any luck. He suffers the same fate. Luckily he makes it out of his barrel alive. Unlucky for him, he breaks his leg on shore. HAHAHA!
2nd clip is a nice Cold War timepiece as a General Marshall gives a diatribe on why the commies are so evil and how they operate and therefore we need to help Europe arm itself!
3rd clip, we remember some men who died in a German Airlift. They said they died for the cold war. No idea what happened.. Oh well..
5th clip.. Fashions for the office! Nuff said.
4th clip is an impossibly cute dog show.. Chihuahuas against the great danes! Corn Starch for the poodles! Crowns for the bulldogs! Awwwww!
Finally, we see a spectacular fire that nearly destroyed a San Fransisco block. Its ok, nothing really extraordinary about this fire, despite the breathlessness of the narrator.
