White Rock Recreational Area Mountain Biking Trails in Hillsborough, New Brunswick
White Rock Recreational Area (WRRA) provides some of the most challenging and varying terrain for mountain biking in Atlantic Canada. The trails are built on a former gypsum mine that was officially closed many years ago and has reverted to a natural state. The over 150 years of mining has left mountain bikers with an absolute playground of man made and natural geography to ride.
For Beginners:
White Rock Recreational Area is known mostly for its Blue and Black Trails but the Green trails for beginner riders are plenty and growing. Start Me Up to Meadow to Half-pint and then to Whoops is the most popular Green trail loop. Plus with many multi purpose/shared use trails the Green rider has lots of available trails to explore.
For Intermediate:
White Rock Recreational Area has lots to offer the Intermediate rider looking for more challenging riding terrain. With 16 Blue trails spread throughout the park White Rock Recreational Area can offer the Intermediate rider everything from flow trails, to challenging climbing trails, to some old school east coast trails.
For Experts:
For the Expert rider White Rock Recreational Area has the trails to challenge. Two of our longer and most popular Black trails Porcupine and Stout will keep any rider on their toes. Want more of a challenge ride the double Black DH trail – try the A or B line and let us know what you think.
