Google is finally phasing out its unsecure Manifest v2 API for Chrome extensions - which means that many popular browser extensions, including popular ad blockers like uBlock Origin, will stop working on Chrome and other Chromium-powered web browsers like Microsoft Edge and Opera. So why are they making this change, and how can you keep blocking ads? Will it still work in Firefox and Brave?
