is Lake Powell disappearing? the short answer yes and no. If you watch the video I talk about the mater level in main spots. You can see old water lines where the rock has been bleached from years of leaching. From the waters high point around the early 1980's to now. But if we think about it the lake is man made and the due to poor rainfall and over water withdrawal the lake will continue to go down. This year the water level is up significantly. If you listen to Dave the lake have come up over 40+ feet so much that you can't see some of the rocks you could see in previous years. Dave and Buffie has been coming to the lake for some time now they know the lake very well.
