Moving Blocks in Vanilla Minecraft! [1.14.4]
Hey guys! On my recent trailer for "The Puzzler" map, I got a request to make a tutorial on the smooth door animation. I decided I'd go ahead and make it (but not just the door). Here is a full breakdown on how the moving blocks in the door work.
I feel like it's needless to ask at this point...PLAY THE MAP PLS.
I put a lot of work into it and I think it isn't too bad ;) I fixed the issues where players couldn't actually start the map or access the levels. Sorry about that, it works now!

Summoning the block: /execute align y run summon minecraft:armor_stand ~ ~1.5187 ~ {Tags:["armorstand"],NoGravity:1b,Invulnerable:1b,Invisible:1b,Passengers:[{id:"minecraft:shulker",NoAI:1b,Silent:1b,NoGravity:1b,Invulnerable:1b,ActiveEffects:[{Id:14,Amplifier:1,Duration:1000000,ShowParticles:0b}],Tags:["shulker"],DeathLootTable:"empty"},{id:"falling_block",NoGravity:1,Time:-1000000,DropItem:0,BlockState:{Name:"minecraft:stone"},Tags:["fallingblock"]}]}
Summoning the timer (beginning the block-moving process): /summon minecraft:area_effect_cloud ~ ~ ~ {Tags:["moving"],Duration:21}
Moving the block (make sure this is on repeat and always active): /execute as @e[tag=armorstand] at @s if entity @e[tag=moving] run tp @s ~ ~0.05 ~
