As ICMs are used increasingly to diagnose and manage arrhythmias, allowing for earlier diagnosis and better care management, the need for remote monitoring also has increased.
Remote monitoring has proven to improve both clinical and economic outcomes for patients with ICMs, but there is a huge need for streamlining the remote monitoring process.
The Jot Dx™ ICM unique toggle feature allows clinicians to see three Key Episodes* per arrhythmia type per day, or all episodes, giving the physician the choice on how to manage different patient profiles and ultimately optimizing clinic workflows. The feature works very well from an evidence-based medicine perspective, according to Dr. Gaitonde.
He also addresses the benefits of Abbott’s SyncUP service, including elevating the patient experience with call center support, driving long-term patient compliance, delivering improved hospital efficiency and workflow for physicians, and leveraging success for further service expansion.
