Off-campus Placements? Fear of Public Speaking? Standing out in interviews?
STUDENTS! This one is for you!
While I was a college student, just a year back, in the last two years of my B.Tech degree, I was running my own community for women developers, attending hackathons every second weekend, writing technical blogposts few of which went viral in the Flutter community, speaking and taking workshops in meetups & tech events, and also became a Google Developer Expert before I could write my final year exams!
I also never sat for placements, in fact got a job in off-campus just as 4th year started, but unfortunately ended up jobless just before my final exams.
These 4 years were my favorite time of my life, because my career graph was representing a whole new rollercoaster, and it is an amazing time to do things out of your league, learn things and build your own personality.
And this is what I talked about during my session at Codechef VIT - Flutter Bootcamp that was held on 2nd October, 2020.
