Practicing Woodland Landscape Photography
Woodland scenes are not my strength when it comes to landscape photography. Always looking to improve, I’ve been watching many videos on how to photograph woodland scenes. I finally stumbled across Simon Baxter’s video titled - Don’t Look for Trees - and something clicked. (See the link to the video down below).
I struggle with woodland photography because I look for trees, which are very hard to see in the chaos that is a midwestern woods. So I set out to practice in my local metro park, trying to follow the advice of Simon Baxter. While I still have a long way to go, practicing is what will help you improve your landscape photography the most.
