This is image processing tutorial no. 16, in this tutorial i had explained about image pyramid.
I had used pyrUp and pyrDown method for getting image pyramids.

There are two types of image pyramid:-
1-Gaussian pyramid- in this method we use pyrup and pyrdown methods
2-Laplacian pyramid
