SCIZO'S DIY Skate spots PDX part! Scott "Scizo" Majors. Is a OG legend around Burnside Skatepark and the Portland Oregon skate scene. He is also very knowledgeable on all the DIY skate spots in PDX and the surrounding areas. We hit up a bunch of the crusty DIY spots around PDX, and made this edit. A lot of these clips are in other videos I put out recently, but I wanted to put all Scizos clips together for a rad PDX DIY skate spot part/video! Even with all these clips I definitely forgot some, but this is a good chunk of most of the clips we filmed together over. Most DIYs are hard to skate and not perfect just like most pdx spots it looks better on video or from the car ha "Almost Spots" We skate diy skate parks, diy skate spots, Burnside skatepark the original DIY skatepark illegally built and allowed by the city and now one of the most famous skateparks in the world " Big thanks to Tony hawk pro skater for that! ha, also hit up spots with just a bag of cement to make the spot skate able. anything we could find. Im hyped we hit some many DIYs and Scizo was awesome and showed me most of the ones that are still there and haven't been destroyed cause pretty much any DIY is unapproved by the city and illegal that's how burnside skatepark started and stayed because it was allowed to by the city. kind of like "Feral Cat Cove" "Creston DIY" "The Courts" but eventually most of these don't last forever, and are built on old tennis courts or places that have been abandoned. Cement aint cheap and lots of $$$ hours and work goes into these DIY Spots and the people that make them are awesome! Thank you for your services! So here it is the DIY Scizo PDX skate part! Go rub brick a curb or ledge go wax up ledges! knock knobs off de knob everything you can! And Go out and make it happen yourself! DIY " DO IT YOURSELF! " Don't wait for anyone or the city to make a weak skate park with the same stuff over and over again, Go skate the crusty streets in the North West or your own hood doesn't matter where you are as long as you have a skateboard!
