Parameter Sweeping is a computer-based method where we iteratively change something about the shape of the function by incorporating visual feedback and a guess-and-check approach. It really isn't the eright tool for situations where we know how to do the algebra pretty easily. However, it can be the right appraoch for more complex problems where we don't already know how to solve the problem.
