Creating text with an underline can seem difficult in Elementor. If you try doing it the way Elementor offers, it's going to underline the whole heading and if you do it inside a text editor, you still can't control the color, size or offset. Not without ruining your text, anyhow.
Well, there's a very simple way to underline specific words in both headings and text editors. And you can also adjust the underline's color, size and position. It just takes a tiny bit of CSS.
And, if you use the right units, you can achieve an underline effect that is perfectly responsive and easy to work with. If you EM for your size and offset, you can change the font size in any way you want and the underline will adjust accordingly. It will scale up or down depending on the font size.
This is an amazing way to achieve consistency in the easiest way possible. Not only that, you can use a class to style your underline, which will mean you can use this effect anywhere on your website and adjust it all at once.
And, since this is created with CSS, it will work anywhere, including other WordPress page builders.
