Today we say goodbye to the beans. They have served us well but it was time to add proper animated models for the enemies. It was a long journey (Somehow two years!) to get them into the game and looking good, but it's finally done. I learnt a lot about making custom editor tools in Unity, as well as making Unity packages themselves, which is nice. There is still a lot more to do, but I'm really happy with how things turned out. Hope you enjoyed this devlog!
I am making this game using Unity & HDRP. The game is set in World War I, and the gameplay is inspired by horde games like Call of Duty Zombies - i.e. a round-based co-op zombie shooter. The visuals are inspired by Battlefield I.
