Many innovations were announced at the software developers conference, or WWDC with its short and stylized name. Apple's artificial intelligence strategy has two important legs. Privacy and security. They focused on these two concepts throughout the event.
“Privacy” is their value proposition. Because when you think about it, we store our most personal information on our phones. The most personal type of electronic device is the phone. When you combine this with artificial intelligence, you make the biggest contribution to the life of ordinary people. “Apple Intelligence” will enable you to take action within applications. For example, it will be able to manage your notifications and highlight important messages. Or it will automatically write something for you. Moreover, you will be able to use this feature anywhere in the operating system. For example, you can ask it to rewrite an e-mail in a more professional language, or it can summarize the texts in mail and other applications for you.
These are all things LLMs were already able to do, but now they'll become more core-built features at the operating system level, so the "rest of us" will be able to benefit from them, too.
