Seaboard Block with the Colours of India Soundpack!

In this video I demo the Seaboard Block by Roli and the Touché SE by Expressive E in a song with Indian classical influence. I use the Colors of India (Colours of India) sounds by Roli to create the Veena (similar to sitar) and Bansuri (Indian flute) presets for the sounds. I used a preset in Expressive E’s software called Lié for the rhythmic bells. All the vocals were sung by Ravisankar Kodukula. I used Ableton Simpler to chop the original vocal track by Ravisankar and pitch shift the chops to create the final melody. I also used Cypher by Fxpansion for the synth sounds. The video was shot on location in Agra, India at the Taj Mahal and the Oberoi Amarvilas. The Seaboard Block by Roli allows you to control sounds in incredible ways using a piano format. The Touché SE by Expressive E allows you to also control expression in an intuitive and innovative way. I loved trying out the Colors of India sounds using Equator - the software instrument by Roli in Ableton. The Colors of India sounds are also available as a sound pack from Roli for their iOS app called Noise. The Touché SE sound is a preset from the Lie software that is included with the Touché SE device.
