Divine Ndemeye is a Landscape Designer at space2place and co-founder of the Black and Indigineous Design Collective. She shares her thoughts on integrating the public realm and public spaces into the whole design process.
The intent of the competition is to allow experimentation with different land uses, public realm configurations and to integrate commercial, recreational, the sharing economy and social enterprises that are compatible with housing into the proposed project sites. Competitors are encouraged to ask questions that challenge current zoning and traditional street/lot layouts.
