Radeon GPUs Get HUGE Performance Boost With RSR | A MAJOR Chip Manufacturing Breakthrough Happened
AMD have a surprise up their sleeve for Radeon GPUs, including RDNA 1 and RDNA 2 graphic cards, with a HUGE boost in performance for AMD graphics cards thanks to RSR. This huge bump in performance / frame rate for RX 5000 and RX 6000 GPUs is RSR, Radeon Super Resolution which is AMD's answer to NIS or Nvidia Image Sharpening.
There are several benefits to this new tech, including the aforementioned boost in FPS for RDNA 1 and RDNA 2 GPUs, but will also make AMD FSR or FidelityFX Super Resolution more competitive with Nvidia's DLSS and NIS upsampling technologies.
